Half British, Half Japanese, one hundred percent Psychologist. Removing her glasses from her face and leaning back into her mauve coloured couch in her office, Leon rubbed her eyes after staring irritatingly long at the files she had been asked to review for her colleagues. There were people suffering from poor self-esteem, from severe depression and Münchhausen's all the way to schizophrenic paranoia. It was a mad house.
"Miss Takada," her secretary called from the door, having opened it just a crack. Leon brushed back free strands of her hair and looked over her shoulder, over the back of the couch and towards the door. "A letter has arrived for you, it has nothing written on it, do you still wish to read it?" Leon's secretary asked, her voice ringing of a thick south london dialect. "Eh, yes, I've had nothing to do today but read about sociopaths, might as well see what this joke is about," Leon replied, rubbing her forehead. The psychologist put her glasses back on just as her secretary walked inside in her dainty heels and placed the white unsealed envelope on the coffee table in front of her.
"Thank you," Leon replied, picking up the item. Her secretary quickly walked away. She opened it and inside on the stationary was one thing. The letter L in what Leon considered a ridiculous font and a key card. "The bloody hell," she commented under her breath. The keycard had her photo on it with other security details like a CAC(computer access Chip) card. She looked the card over, realizing the card had details on it in Japanese, the native language of her mother. "Someone went through a lot of trouble to get me this," she said. She looked in the envelope further and found a plane ticket to Tokyo that left in three hours. She had family in Tokyo, so there was really no need for her to get too worried.
However, it quickly dawned on her. The plane left in three hours and someone clearly wanted her in Japan. "Okay, I'll play your game... L... whoever you are," she stated. She quickly got off of her couch and tossed off her white lab coat. She replaced it with her overcoat. "Cancel all my appointments for the next couple of weeks, something has come up," she stated to her secretary as she stepped out of her office. She turned and locked the door before she left the building, leaving a bewildered looking secretary.
After packing a few essentials in a small bag, Leon managed to make her flight with the keycard in hand. It was a good five hour flight until she arrived in Tokyo. "Okay, and this is where it's going to get strange, right?" she questioned bitterly to herself, looking around to see if there would be anyone looking for the black haired, blue eyed psychologist in the crowd.
